KING KYLIE GLOSSES
Prop Styling for E-commerce Campaign
MY ROLE: Prop Stylist
CLIENT: Kylie Cosmetics
TYPE: E-commerce / Digital Commercial
YEAR: 2024
The Challenge
The goal was to launch the newest line of glosses with visuals that conveyed luxury, highlighted product texture, and ensured consistency across all digital platforms. The primary creative challenge was showcasing the reflective nature of the product against high-key lighting without losing detail or depth.
Execution & Styling Focus
- **Material Palette:** Developed a tactile and upscale palette using materials like translucent acrylic, polished metals, and raw silk to create visual contrast that elevated the product.
- **Precision Placement:** Meticulous arrangement of product and supporting props to manage complex light reflections, ensuring the glosses appeared vibrant and true-to-color in every frame.
- **Sourcing & Preparation:** Managed all prop sourcing, transport, and on-set preparation, adhering strictly to brand guidelines and a tight production schedule.
